3PAR Policy Advisor for Dynamic Optimization adds intelligent analysis and additional automation features to Dynamic Optimization that take autonomic storage tiering to the next level. Policy Advisor works by analyzing how volumes on the 3PAR InServ® Storage Server are using physical disk space and automatically making intelligent, non-disruptive adjustments to ensure optimal volume distribution and storage tiering across storage server resources.
