Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP)

Since 2003, 3PAR was a member of the Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP). Under the OSCP, Oracle and its partners worked together to validate specialized storage technology including NFS file servers, remote mirroring, and snapshot products.

Starting in January 2007, the OSCP program was ended by Oracle and Oracle ceased validating these storage products. Oracle believes that these three specialized storage technologies are well understood by customers, are very mature, and the Oracle technology requirements are well known. As of January 2007, Oracle will no longer validate storage products.

Recovery Manager for Oracle

Recovery Manager for Oracle builds on 3PAR's Virtual Copy solution. Recovery Manager for Oracle is specially tailored to an Oracle environment and safely and cost-effectively automates fast Oracle backups and equally fast recoveries using disk-based snapshots.
