3PAR Utility Storage a Winner in the Storage Magazine/SearchStorage.com Products of the Year Awards

Today, 3PAR®, the leading provider of Utility Storage, announced that its 3PAR InServ® Storage Server has been selected as a bronze winner in the "Best Product of the Year" awards issued by TechTarget's Storage magazine and SearchStorage.com. 3PAR medalled in a crowded "Disk and Disk Subsystems" category, which included Storage Area Network (SAN) devices, Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems, Direct-Attached Storage (DAS) systems, disk drives, and disk controllers. 3PAR out-classed a number of established storage players, and was the only Utility Storage system selected.
The products were judged on innovation, performance, ease of integration into the environment, ease of use and manageability, functionality and value. The judges highlighted the 3PAR InServ's ability to provision performance and capacity on-demand to a variety of different hosts and applications.
