John Taffinder as General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa
(EMEA). Taffinder, a highly accomplished senior executive and a well-known
figure in the European storage industry, has joined 3PAR's global sales
management team, reporting to Jim Dawson, Vice President of Worldwide
Sales. Taffinder‘s mission is to continue to grow 3PAR Utility
Storage within the EMEA market.
Taffinder was previously with Hitachi Data Systems, where he held the
top EMEA role of Executive Vice President and General Manager, directing
a team of 1,000 people. Under Taffinder's direction, HDS successfully
expanded its operations across EMEA and signed an average of one new
customer each working day, leading to doubled revenues in a four-year
period.
