3PAR InServ X-Series Storage Server breaks new records
The 3PAR® world-record SPC-1 Benchmark-1™ result doubles the previous single-system record–a spot held for over a year by 3PAR’s own InServ® Storage Server.
The 3PAR InServ S800 X-Series (8-node) achieved an SPC Benchmark-1 result
of 100,045.74 SPC-1 IOPS, an SPC-1 Price-Performance of $14.81/SPC-1
IOPS at a total ASU capacity of 16,468.673 GB.

PARTNERING FOR THE NAS
RECORD
ONStor and 3PAR deliver the highest throughput for a High Availability
(HA) dual-head configuration ever recorded on an industry-standard file
services benchmark.
The ONStor SF4440 SAN Filer and the 3PAR InServ Storage
Server with Thin Provisioning demonstrated performance of 71,334 SPEC
SFS operations
per second with an overall response time of 1.69 milliseconds—the
fastest to date for file servers measured in a common HA two-node configuration.
The two companies also posted a benchmark of 35,624SPEC SFS operations
with a response time of 1.72 milliseconds for single SF4440 SAN filers,
proving the solution's unique ability to scale performance linearly.
