Research International selects 3PAR over HP and cuts costs by 80%

Research International, a global market research firm, has standardized on 3PAR to slash storage management costs by 80%. Research International has also cut up to 80% of its traditional capacity requirements for multiple applications with 3PAR Thin Provisioning.

Research International needed to consolidate, speed client responsiveness and cut its global IT costs. To do so, the company consolidated its mission-critical Web-based data collection services from dozens of sites worldwide to a single 3PAR InServ® Storage Server in London. Research International also purchased a second InServ Storage Server for local operations in Phoenix, Arizona. The 3PAR InServ Storage Server beat out the HP EVA for its simplicity, scalability, always-on availability and business flexibility. Research International replaced several HP and IBM arrays with 3PAR.
