Infinity Pharmaceuticals is a leading drug discovery company that selected 3PAR Utility Storage as their sole enterprise storage platform. Infinity needed a more robust storage environment and evaluated several vendors but 3PAR was the only one with a platform that could meet their rigorous requirements.
We're delighted with our selection of 3PAR and believe their Utility Storage solution gives us a tremendously flexible, simplified, and powerful storage platform that can match the pace of our business.

The leading women’s online health portal LifeScript.com has deployed 3PAR Utility Storage for affordable, scalable, and highly intelligent storage as part of an enhanced utility computing environment. With 3PAR, LifeScript’s Web 2.0 portal and email processing engine now supports three billion transactions per month for a third less cost than their previous storage environment. LifeScript’s new infrastructure has also enhanced business agility by reducing average time to provision new servers from several hours to just minutes.
LifeScript delivers health guidance and resources to women over the internet using a cloud computing delivery model. This service delivery is backed by a resilient, agile, and high-performance utility computing infrastructure built on next-gen Utility Storage arrays from 3PAR and server virtualization from VMware®.
When 3PAR came along, we were firmly committed to growing our traditional storage infrastructure in response to increasing storage capacity needs following server virtualization migration onto VMware. However, after further investigation, it quickly became obvious that 3PAR offered us not only capacity savings, but intelligent integration with VMware to curb storage costs and give us greater performance and agility.

Martin’s Point began as a not-for-profit health care practice in Maine, serving the needs of low-income patients. In 1981, we officially began operations as “Martin’s Point Health Care” and started offering the US Family Health Plan to military beneficiaries in Portland, Maine. Throughout the years, we’ve continued to improve our services, and to find new ways to care for more people in our communities. Today, through our Health Care Centers, our health plans, and our employer wellness services, we serve more than 85,000 patients and members throughout northern New England and New York.
As an organization, we’re focused on innovation and improvement. As the health care system has become more complex, we’ve risen to the challenge to stay on the leading edge of the industry. As a physician-led organization, our goals are to keep the people we serve healthy, to provide excellent service, and to find innovative ways to make the health care system more efficient and effective.
Founded in 1898 and affiliated with what is now New York-Presbyterian Hospital since 1927, Weill Medical College of Cornell University is among the top-ranked clinical and medical research centers in the country. In addition to offering degrees in medicine, Weill Cornell also has PhD programs in biomedical research and education at the Weill Graduate School of Medical Sciences and—with neighboring Rockefeller University and the Sloan-Kettering Institute—has established a joint MD-PhD program for students to intensify the pursuit of Weill Cornell’s threefold mission of education, research, and patient care.
With 3PAR, we were able to deploy enterprise-class storage at a mid-range price. Without 3PAR, we would have had to buy much more capacity than we needed, or we would have had to purchase multiple separate systems to accommodate our needs. Instead, our InServs are designed to fit our needs perfectly—even as we grow.
