3PAR Partners With Antemeta to Launch Utility Storage in France

New Partnership Takes Aim at the Third Largest European Market

VMware EMEA conference, Cannes, France, February 26, 2008

3PAR® (NYSE Arca: PAR), the leading global provider of utility storage, announced today that it has signed a reseller agreement with AntemetA, a leading systems integrator in France and Luxembourg highly specialized in enterprise storage. In Europe, 3PAR is now present either directly or through its partner network in the following countries: United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, and Luxembourg.

According to the agreement, AntemetA is authorized to resell 3PAR Utility Storage in Luxembourg and France, one of the largest storage markets in Europe. This includes the sale of 3PAR InServ® Storage Servers and software such as 3PAR Thin Provisioning, Virtual Copy, Remote Copy, Dynamic Optimization, and Virtual Domains. The partnership with 3PAR provides AntemetA with one of the key elements it needs to offer complete utility computing built on 3cV, an innovative blueprint for the virtual datacenter that stands for the combination of the 3PAR InServ® Storage Server, HP BladeSystem c-Class, and VMware® Infrastructure. The agreement also authorizes AntemetA to render post-sales support services for 3PAR products and 3cV.

"Our research highlights that organizations of all sizes are actively engaged in projects to update and better manage their IT infrastructures," said Tony Lock, Program Director for Freeform Dynamics. "This is especially the case with respect to their ability to store and manage information in line with its business value, service commitments, and power optimization requirements. A better understanding of the role of server and storage virtualization will prove to be important to organizations as they seek to not only keep the company operational, but as they look to help deliver new business value."

"We are thrilled to have added 3PAR to our portfolio because it adds highly virtualized storage to our current storage offerings and allows us to extend our portfolio in the high-end range," said Stephane Blanc, managing director at AntemetA. "To be successful in the French market requires a deep understanding of the local challenges and requirements of end-user companies. Our regional expertise coupled with 3PAR's unique storage offerings gives us the ability to help organizations increase the efficiency of their storage infrastructures while making them easier to manage and more cost-effective."

"From the beginning, 3PAR has executed a carefully planned expansion strategy that has enabled us to establish a foothold in Europe," said David Scott, CEO and President of 3PAR. "We see a significant opportunity in continuing our expansion over into France and Luxembourg and we believe that our partnership with AntemetA will better enable us to penetrate these markets. We chose AntemetA because of its excellent reputation in delivering a complete range of services from datacenter architecture to post-sales support and for its proven track record of selling high-end systems to large and medium-sized companies."
